Ladue News: A New Take on an Old Yarn with Deceived

“Moonstone Theatre Company, after a short sabbatical, returns to open its fifth season at its new home, Gaslight Theater, with a two-act drama appropriately based on Patrick Hamilton’s nearly century-old whodunit, ‘Gaslight.’ This version is titled ‘Deceived,’ and it provides an evening of engrossing entertainment thanks to director Sharon Hunter and her fine quartet of performers.”

“As it is, this rendition of ‘Deceived’ is a fine ripping yarn in the noble British tradition, and Moonstone Theatre Company does it justice.”
